INVEST IN KITAKYUSHU REAL ESTATE
As you may or may not be aware, Kitakyushu is poised to boom. Despite occasional local criticism of the prior mayor, Mr. Koichi Sueyoshi, his administration laid the foundation for the growth and improvement we are on the threshold of enjoying. His projects like the Kitakyushu Science and Research Park, Kitakyushu International Airport, and countless others have put Kitakyushu in a better state and made it highly appealing to domestic and international investment.
Major automobile manufacturers are poised to open new factories. Visitors from China and Korea are increasing. Kitakyushu City has a film commission. Yes, a film commission. And it makes money! Big money. The number of major motion pictures made in Kitakyushu is on the rise and with it come millions of dollars for local businesses.
A quick look at the returns and yields on properties here has piqued the interest of lots of speculators and first time investors as well. Take a simple 3LDK used condominium in Kokura Minami Ward, for instance. A property built in the late 1990s and close to a monorail station between Tokuriki and the last stop would probably fetch about 8,000,000 JPY to 15,000,000 JPY. However it would rent out for anywhere between 60,000 to 80,000 JPY per month. If you took out a 35 year loan for the full amount, your monthly payments would be only 45,000 JPY per month. Not bad considering you'd be raking in a really high percentage more monthly by renting it out.
